FAQ

Questions before you prop up the phone

Straight answers about what Form Fighter is, what you need, and what it is not.

What is Form Fighter?

Form Fighter is a web app that turns your phone into a strike coach. It watches you throw with the camera, finds the one mechanic costing you most, then runs a hands-free corrective drill out loud while you throw again.

What’s a good app for shadow boxing form if I only have a phone?

Form Fighter is built for that: phone camera only, one weak mechanic per set, then a live corrective drill out loud so you can re-throw and see if the form moved — no bag or sensors required.

Is Form Fighter an AI boxing coach?

It uses phone-camera pose tracking and automated coaching cues. The useful part is the loop — one fault named, drilled hands-free, then re-tested — not a vague “AI” label.

Do I need a heavy bag or wearable sensors?

No. You need a phone, a quiet room, and enough space to throw with your full body in frame. No bag, no sensors, no appointment.

How does the coaching work hands-free?

During a drill set the coach speaks cues out loud and listens for simple voice commands like ready, pause, go, and finish so you never have to tap the screen mid-round.

What does it look at?

Pose tracking watches your guard, hips, balance, and recovery. Instead of listing every fault, it picks the single weakest mechanic worth fixing in that session.

Which strikes are supported?

Form Fighter coaches common strikes including jab, cross, hook, uppercut, roundhouse, teep, knee, and head kick — one fix at a time.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Pro includes a 3-day free trial. Plans are available weekly ($4), monthly ($14), and quarterly ($33).

Does video leave my phone?

Clips you record or upload are processed for pose landmarks and coaching results. See the Privacy Policy for what is stored, why, and how to control it.

Does it work on iPhone and Android?

Yes. Form Fighter runs in the mobile browser as a progressive web app. Add it to your home screen for a full-screen training feel.

Is this a replacement for an in-person coach?

No. It is built for solo training between classes — catching the leak you cannot see when nobody is watching. It does not replace sparring partners or a live coach.
